Do I need to recharge an extinguisher I only used for a second?
Yes. Any discharge can let pressure leak out over time, so an extinguisher that has been used at all should be recharged.
How do I know my extinguisher needs a recharge?
Check the pressure gauge: if the needle is outside the green area, the pin or seal is missing, or it has been used, it needs service.
Can every extinguisher be recharged?
Most commercial units can. Disposable models and damaged cylinders are replaced instead, and we will tell you which applies.
